Compensation: $17.89/hr
Compass Health Network is seeking a Program Assistant to be responsible for organizing, coordinating and monitoring all nonclinical operations of ACT under the direction of the team leader; providing receptionist activities including triaging calls, coordinating communication between the team and clients, and deescalating situations with clients who have increased symptomatology, and assisting clients, their families and agencies to get answers to questions.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.
Responsibilities Include:
* Greet people at ACT headquarters and answering calls including: triaging calls, coordinate communication between team and clients; answering questions for clients, families, and agencies; work with callers to relieve urgent situations or to temporarily manage them until other staff are available; attend to symptomatic behavior of clients who come into the ACT office.
* Maintain staff appointments and prepare weekly schedules for staff and clients
* Maintain staff work schedules and work with team leader for coverage during vacations and absences
* Record admissions and discharges in Department of Mental Health state computer system (CIMOR)
* Prepare letters, memos, and reports for the team, including collecting and preparing quarterly ACT fidelity reports
* Update and maintain a client handbook, client handouts, group lists, and other materials for client use
* Participate in daily staff organizational meetings
* Prepare for medication clinic to include typing schedule and ensuring all forms needed are in consumer file
* Ensure adequate supplies and forms are available
* Conduct financial intakes, ensuring each client has all needed financial and clinical forms signed at time of appointment
* Process and prep filing for scanning into electronic storage of paper consumer files
* Conduct reminder calls for next day appointments
* Assist and support all clinical staff with use of electronic systems
* Monitors all client records to see billing is progressing adequately
* Other duties as assigned
High School/GED required.
Must have education and experience in the field of human services, office management or both
