Provider Network Management Director Senior

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates must live within 50 miles/1 hour commute of our New York City, NY, Indianapolis, IN, Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA or Tampa, FL Elevance Health locations.

The Provider Network Management Director Senior is responsible for guiding and overseeing the execution of large-scale, complex, multi-state negotiations with key provider groups and hospital systems across all lines of business in the region.

How you will make an impact:

  • Leading complex contracting negotiations.
  • Designing robust renewal strategies that transition from fee-based reimbursement to value-based care.
  • Participating in strategic network discussions.
  • Overseeing national Joint Operating Committees.
  • Supporting local markets in fulfilling key deliverables.
  • Serving as a regional mentor in contract negotiation and relationship management tactics.
  • Working collaboratively with Federal Government Solutions in responding to RFPs to support network builds and future business needs.
  • Shared savings/incentive payouts based on cost and quality performance and budget expenses.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of leadership/management experience in healthcare management; or any combination of education and experience, that would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
  • Previous P&L and/or project management experience in a healthcare setting, and excellent quantitative, marketing, financial, and strategic skills are strongly preferred.
  • Business development mindset or aptitude.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $141,360 to $211,920.

Locations: New York
