SUMMARY:

Ability to interpret accurately for any management or personnel staff. Must be able to interpret for any team members who are non- English speaking. Ability to interpret documents accurately from English to Pular or Vis versa. Must be able to assist the dispensary staff with physicals and doctor appointments including interpretation for any non-English-speaking team members at the doctor s office. Must be able to work with new hires in their onboarding to learn assigned role. Any other tasks or miscellaneous duties deemed appropriate by the supervisor.

Our Pular Interpreter would be working 1st Shift Onsite at our Claryville Plant in Alexandria KY, Monday-Friday 8:00AM- 4:30PM (flexibility needed, expectation is to flex schedule to other shifts as needed for training new hires). Although the Hourly Rate for this role is based on experience, this role does offer a 3.50% Annual Salary Review, with an overall opportunity to start/continue your growth with Tyson!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  
• Experience: 2+ years Interpreter Experience preferred with Manufacturing environment experience a plus! 100% bilingual English/Pular required. Good general knowledge of the production areas and management personnel. Skilled in accurate interpretation. Must be able to communicate translate effectively in verbal and written format from English to Pular and Pular to English and translate written documents. Confidentiality is a must.
  
• Computer Skills: Basic PC skills preferred. Primarily Microsoft Windows XP Professional programs such as Excel Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office programs.
  
• Communication Skills: Must be capable of communicating well both verbally and in writing with all levels of team members from hourly to upper management as well as government officials.
  
• Special Skills: Excellent people skills and a willingness to assist as needed. Ability to work under little supervision.
  
• Other Requirements: Good attendance safety and all-around work record. Able to flex work hours to provide interpretation for candidate tours, new hire orientation and onboarding.
  
• Travel: Minimal
  
• Must reside in the US as this role does not offer sponsorship.
