We are seeking Quality Control Inspector candidates for an awesome opportunity for our client in Hamden, CT

• Pay rates up to $25 per hour depending on experience
• Direct Hire opportunity

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides assistance in the overall implementation and administration of company's quality standards, processes and procedures.
• Interprets engineering drawings and related documents.
• Performs product and materials inspections at various points in the manufacturing build (i.e., incoming, in-process and final) in accordance with engineering drawings, SOPs and work instructions.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers and other technical measuring devices to determine product conformance to specifications and end product requirements.
• Generate Nonconformance reports for rework/replacement and disposition of product.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic understanding of blueprint dimensioning. (GD&T preferred)
• Experience in measuring and inspecting manufactured parts
• Basic understanding of ISO 13485
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions
• Must be able to measure small parts using standard equipment
• Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak the English language
