The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Referral Coordinator to support our Internal Medicine team located at 500 Merrimac Street, Lawrence, 01843. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm with the expectation that employees will be onsite for all hours worked.

• Leading up to the patient visit, Referral Coordinators obtain prior authorizations and insurance verifications
• At the conclusion of the visit, Referral Coordinators handle check-out and schedule any follow-up appointments, tests, and/or procedures

Qualifications
Qualifications

• A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Must have previous experience in a medical office environment.
• Experience handling referrals preferred.
