* Provides expertise, advice, and guidance on safety programs, policies, and procedures, representing FedEx Safety across various departments and external stakeholders. Leads safety initiatives and projects, ensuring team responsibilities are defined, progress is monitored, and deliverables are successfully completed.
Essential Functions
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in safety, logistics, engineering, business management, or a related field.
Minimum Experience
Seven years of experience in environmental health, logistics/transportation, safety, or a related field is required, along with experience facing multiple leadership levels and external parties on behalf of the organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of industrial/occupational safety and transportation/safer highways.
Ability to comprehend complex information and apply learnings quickly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build professional rapport and influence diverse groups, proficiency in Microsoft Office software and web-based application.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to anticipate problems and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Experiences: Data Analytics, PowerBI, Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA), Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), Accident/Incident Investigation Preferred Experience: Flight experience and/or aircraft knowledge
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $6511.62 to $8627.89
