Baer is looking for an SAP Technical Lead for a 12-month Federal project located in Columbia, SC.

Title: SAP Technical Lead
Location: Columbia, SC (partially remote)
Duration: 12+ months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted)

Description:

• Lead the SAP project team with technical direction, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Design and manage SAP ECC architecture to meet business needs.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes.
• Lead daily standups and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee customization, data migration, and system integration.
• Mentor junior team members and facilitate effective communication.
• Serve as technical contact for clients and manage change requests.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks.
  Support testing, UAT, and go-live activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide regular updates.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SAP project leadership. State/Local experience is a plus.
• Hands on experience with Order-to-Cash (OTC) process and core Finance modules (FI/CO).
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC architecture, customization, and integration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to manage technical risks and ensure project quality.
  SAP certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Candidates must live in the Southeast region with the ability to commute into Columbia, South Carolina as needed (1-2 times per month).
