Senior/Staff Accountant -Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to help maintain the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, monthly closing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, a deep understanding of GAAP, and advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with NetSuite and a strong understanding of HOA accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger (G/L) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes in a timely manner.
• Prepare journal entries and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Perform account reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Analyze financial data and provide insightful reporting to management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
• Provide support during audits, including preparation of schedules and documentation.
• Assist in the integration of new financial systems or processes. Work closely with cross-
• functional teams to ensure financial data is accurately reported.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in general ledger accounting and month-end closing.
• Proficiency in NetSuite is REQUIRED.
• Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Previous experience working in the property management, real estate or property management industry is a plus.
• Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams.

Competitive salary: ($85,000 - $90,000 per year).
