Job Summary:Altus Group is currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join their Complex Property Tax business area. This role will be reporting to leadership out of our Hunt Valley, MD and Denver, Co offices. This will be a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Independent analysis and project completion capable of determining next step in projects
Independent analysis of data to assist with scope definition, appeal determination, and/or project completion
Provide recommendations to management for course appeal recommendations and/or next steps of a project or appeal
Once scope is defined, execution of steps to allow for project completion
Correspond with assessors and clients to gather information necessary for work completion
Implementation and execution of a project plan to meet scope requirements for routine or repeatable projects
Supervise employees, as appropriate, to ensure work completion and communicate analysis results and status to supervisors and clients
Billing and monitoring project profitability
Ensure all systems are updated for projected revenue and timing, and staffing of personnel
Act as a first level resource for new/lesser experience staff for technical and analytical matters
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field preferred, but not required)
Relevant property tax experience, preferably in industrial, energy, telecom, or similar markets
Working knowledge of valuation concepts
Advance level Excel, Word and Adobe skills
Ability to consolidate and analyze large and complex data sets
Advanced analytical skills
High attention to detail
