Job Title: Senior Director, US Nemolizumab Head of HCP Marketing
Location: Boston-hybrid
The Senior Director, US Nemolizumab Head of HCP Marketing will lead a team of marketing professionals with responsibility for ownership and development of the US go-to marketing strategy, advanced capabilities and tactical plans directed to HCP stakeholders in the opportunity landscape. This role will lead the asset strategy with cross-functional partnership, in preparation of launching Galderma's novel biologic for two indications-prurigo nodularis and atopic dermatitis. This senior director will be a key contributor to bringing an estimated multi blockbuster franchise to fruition through unique and differentiated strategies with both proven and innovative approaches in this highly competitive category. This role will liaison directly with the in-field team, marketing teams as well as other cross-functional partners to ensure executional best practices are pulled through in developing the national promotional and pull-through plan for the US. The role partners closely with key stakeholders within the global and US cross functional leadership teams as well as external partners.
- Develop the HCP commercialization plan and go-to-market strategy to maximize opportunity by leading and collaborating with key functions across Galderma (clinical, medial, regulatory, product supply, Insights and Analytics).
- Oversee the marketing strategies, tactics and activities for the US launch of Nemolizumab with direct input into the brand P&L.
- Lead the HCP strategy across Nemolizumab for each indication and ensure appropriate resource allocation to maximize the asset.
- Manage budget, resourcing, forecasting, planning and establish metrics and track program effectiveness and ROI across all investments (sales, marketing, market access).
- Key contributor to the Nemolizumab lifecycle management activities to ensure appropriate clinical and medical plans are developed with compelling data to increase opportunity with new patient cohorts.
- Oversee the identification of HCP and brand insights into actionable programs that have a beneficial impact on the growth of the brand.
- Oversee the unique positioning, messaging, brand architecture for HCPs including co-positioning of two indications, prurigo nodularis and atopic dermatitis, to create integrated and compelling campaigns that drive action and activation.
- Lead customer engagement plans and marketing capabilities including omnichannel/NPP, media, NPP, marketing tactics and patient-HCP dialogue materials.
- Build and oversee a high performing marketing team for both indication across HCP and Consumer to support the launch.
- Identify innovative capabilities and functions to help grow and expand market leadership and create a competitive advantage.
- Collaborate closely with the entire organization to ensure brand strategies and plans are understood, aligned and executed.
- Build, recruit and lead a team of high performing marketing professionals.
- Present to senior leadership to provide confidence in launch strategy, measurement and ongoing optimization post-launch to drive maximized profile.
Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Masters degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a global, regional or US marketing team
- Past sales/field experience preferred
- Launch experience preferred with proven successful track record at bringing blockbuster products to market
- Experience with regulatory/material approval process
- Strong ability to translate science into commercial strategies
- Cross-functional experience required, proven track record of collaboration and coordination with key internal and external stakeholders (including external agency partners)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills: ability to articulate a point of view succinctly and effectively to senior leaders and external customers
- Comprehensive analytical/strategic thinking skills; demonstrated ability to utilize data in fact-based decision-making (data to insights, to action).
- Ability and confidence to work effectively and with a sense of urgency across a global matrix enterprise, and to influence without authority
- Adaptability, resilience and tenacity and ability to quickly pivot
- Proficient in English, MS Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Availability to travel >20% time
