As a key leader of the Global Marketing Communications Team, this role will help define, manage and execute all customer communications strategies to drive awareness and MQLs for Azenta Life Sciences global marketing campaigns for Multiomics & Synthetic Solutions (M&SS) services.

He/She will manage a team of campaign leads and marcom specialists to develop and execute strong marketing programs and content to support and deepen customer engagement and meet business objectives.

As an evolving and expanding marketing team, the Director of Campaigns Management will need to test and try new and innovative marketing strategies and tactics, evolve operational processes to drive demand and implement new tools and marketing technology capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing communications professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Partner closely with the product marketing managers, product management and line of business owners and web/digital teams on campaign planning and execution. Set up KPIs and metrics reporting related to campaigns.
  • Leverage analytics to manage and track lead generation goals, adjusting activities based on results. Recommend data-driven tactical shifts going forward and establish best practices.
  • Integrate communications strategy and messages across all online and offline channels (i.e. email, website, social media, and display) on a global basis.
  • Conduct QC of all M&SS customer facing content for brand consistency and uniform voice.
  • Oversee the creation and management of projects in project management systems/tools - continue to optimize processes and find efficiencies.
  • Manage external newsletter, email campaigns and email automation (focus on content) working with the web/digital team.
  • Manage translations for web properties, social media campaigns, set up the promotion and execution of global webinars.
  • Develop and define the marketing mix to reach global audiences.
  • Collaborate on paid search, paid social and retargeting efforts with the web/digital teams.
  • Establish consistent communications across marketing functions.
  • Align processes, scale efforts, create an agile environment.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of B2B and demand generation marketing experience, preferably in the Life Sciences Industry
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Life sciences marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related degree
  • Strong project management (Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred), time management, and organization skills with a proven track record to successfully plan, manage and (re)prioritize multiple complex projects, programs and campaigns simultaneously and foresee/mitigate potential risks.
  • Strong writing skills for scientific audiences that also span across various areas, including social media, emails, blogs, application notes, white papers, brochures, programs, promotional materials, website content, newsletters, invitations, presentations, and other projects as needed.
  • A focus on execution with the ability to handle multiple assignments, partnering with multiple teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Able to manage and lead by demonstrating and establishing clarity, effectively communicating, and reinforcing the value of collaboration in enhancing team's performance
  • Provide guidance and lead training to enable team members to meet/go above and beyond expectations.
  • Home office based, East coast preferred location, minimal Travel
  • Compensation range $108k-$155k base salary plus 10% bonus target, additional benefits available on date of hire.
