RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager in San Antonio, TX.Summary:We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager with a strong background in managing infrastructure projects and extensive experience in vendor management. This role requires a strategic thinker with technical expertise to lead complex projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-impact infrastructure solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee end-to-end infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, data center expansions, and cloud transitions, ensuring all phases are completed on schedule and within scope
- Develop, document, and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, adhering to enterprise project management best practices
- Ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components, including Nutanix HCI, where applicable
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers, overseeing contract negotiations, establishing SLAs, and managing ongoing vendor relationships
- Monitor vendor performance, addressing any issues that may arise and ensuring vendors adhere to agreed-upon timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Evaluate vendor proposals, comparing options, and providing recommendations for selection based on project requirements and budget constraints
- Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including executives, IT, operations, and business units, ensuring consistent communication and alignment on project goals
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, developing contingency plans as needed to minimize impacts
- Coordinate and manage resources across internal teams, external vendors, and contractors, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with project schedules
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects and vendor management; Experience with hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), especially Nutanix, is highly desirable
- Proficient in infrastructure technologies, including servers, networking, storage, and cloud; Familiarity with Nutanix or other HCI solutions is a significant advantage
- Familiarity with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks
- Experience with enterprise project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, or JIRA
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
