Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Project Managerwithin our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects that have involved the entire software development life cycle, preferably with applications involving web-based systems.
  • Working and partnering with large government agencies with a focus on customer management
  • Manage multiple sub-contractors
  • Work with various software development methodologies and well-established processes that are utilized in a scaled Agile environment.
  • Manage a small to mid-sized team, conduct detailed project resource planning and resolve matters of resource contention and escalate if necessary.
  • Assist with requirements gathering and documentation processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 10+ years of project management experience with 3+ years of experience managing web-based application development.
  • PMP Certified is preferred
  • 10 + years experience of managing contracts with upwards of 5M in revenue.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Systems Analysis - Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Systems Evaluation - Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
  • Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Experience with full-life cycle software applications development, preferably using a scaled Agile methodology, to include design, development, test and integration.
  • Excellent written/verbal skills with the ability to interpret and author well-formed documents and successfully communicate solutions/issues with teammates.
  • Experience with Health and Human Services government systems and processes.
  • Experience with USDA's Women Infants and Children (WIC) or the Child Nutrition Programs (CNP) is desirable.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current

annual range is $116,000 to $191,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This position is classified as exempt in accordance with applicable law.

If applicable, hires for these projects will be required to obtain a Federal Public Trust Clearance (Moderate Background Investigation). This clearance process may start upon offer acceptance; and must be cleared prior to working on these projects.
