JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is currently recruiting for an SIMOPS Coordinator with experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably offshore major capital projects. The position will have a domestic assignment and an international assignment (S.Korea/Israel).

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The SIMOPS Coordinator operates under the direction and authority of the Commissioning Manager and Commissioning HSE Manager to communicate all potential work tasks, to prevent conflicts in the form of unsafe conditions between any and all groups working in the facility.
KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB: Coordinate, facilitate and ensure that all Permit Work Tasks and JSEA's are properly documented and communicated between responsible parties and posted when necessary. Maintain adequate reports of Permits and work tasks for area specific work tasks. Approve work activities and tasks depending on contractors work scope, risk, conditions and priority in the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
CRITICAL SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES: Be responsible for understanding and executing Wood's Safety Policies and Procedures throughout all phases of the project. Personal safety awareness and team safety awareness are necessary.
