Description: Our client is currently seeking aSoftware Asset Management Analyst

Program Goal: The SAM Program aims to manage risk and ensure compliance with material software publishers. The program delivers value through license compliance monitoring, reducing audit risks and penalties, and optimizing software usage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Entitlement Baselines and Effective License Positions per publisher specifications.
• Monitor and identify compliance risks associated with software licenses.
• Coordinate software and license reclamation activities.
• Optimize software assets through rationalization and consumption analysis.
• Ensure the quality of software asset records.
• Manage relationships with Product Owners, Technical Owners, and Procurement within the enterprise.
• Assist in software audit activities.
• Address software license-related inquiries regarding purchases, installations, usage, and provide licensing recommendations to stakeholders.
• Review and understand contract terms and conditions.
• Facilitate the collection of license entitlements.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, process enhancements, and develop program metrics.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in software license management.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow and SAMP.
• Strong data management skills.
