Senior Shipping Associate

Taunton, MA

Contract Position

$17.38-$22.38/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and clerical duties, including selecting proper carriers, preparing shipment paperwork, and tracking shipments.
• Process outgoing shipments while adhering to established shipping practices and procedures using computerized systems.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience operating a forklift or other power industrial vehicles; ability to lift heavy items.
• Knowledge of shipping processes, including handling classified materials.
• Ability to coordinate material movement with purchasing, production, and engineering departments.
• Certification in shipping or logistics preferred, if applicable.
