Job Description
Responsibilities: Participates in Epic order Verification, prepares and delivers medications and information to physicians, nurses, and patients within the hospital. Supervises technical staff in all phases of their duties. Checks all orders, IV admixtures, repackaging of medications, etc. Provide daily pharmaceutical care to patients through prevention, adverse drug reaction management, pharmacokinetic consults and monitoring. This position also helps with coverage at the Bel Air Campus. It does include weekends and holidays as well as evenings.

Qualifications
Qualifications: B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy. Current MD pharmacist license. Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Education:
Graduate from accredited school of Pharmacy required.
Licensure: Current Maryland License or eligible for licensure in the State of Maryland required.
Work Experience: One - two years working experience in an institutional setting preferred.

Works inside in a clean, well-light environment.
Fast paced; exposed to frequent interruptions, variability in work load, and multiple demands.
Potential for regular exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials, requiring the observance of Standard (Universal) precautions and safe handling practices.
May be required to work beyond normal tour of duty and rotate shifts based on department needs.
