In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:Student Assistant will shelve books and journals, pick up library items from tables, carrels, and carts, scan and sort library items for shelving. Assistant will also be working on correct order of shelf-read library collection and perform light copy machine/computer maintenance tasks, such as cleaning glass monitors and keyboards and the tables that hold them. Student Assistant supports the circulation desk and assists patrons with general inquiries in-person and over phone; answers directional questions; assist patrons with basic OSCAR and OhioLink questions; checks in and out library materials; assists patrons in locating books and journals; helps patrons with basic research questions and refer difficult questions to library staff; other duties as assigned.
Required:
Ability to work a set schedule.
Excellent customer service skills and computer skills.
Desired:
Federal Work-study eligibility strongly preferred but not required.
The targeted hiring range for this position is $13.50
