The Waubonsee Café Student Worker reports to the Food Service Operators and Financial Aid Manager. The Waubonsee Café Student Worker is responsible for cashiering, assistance with food preparation, food display setups and breakdown, and cleanup.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome customers. Provide prompt and courteous service.
Operate cash register efficiently and accurately.
Assist in preparing carious food items, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Help set up, clean, and maintain food service areas and equipment.
Other duties as assigned by the food service operators.
Minimum Qualifications
Have submitted a FAFSA and qualify for the Federal Work Study program.
A Waubonsee student enrolled in at least one credit.
Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or above.
18 years old or older.
Be in good standing with Student Conduct.
Be making Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Physical Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work at either the Sugar Grove or Aurora Campus
