Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Technology & Operations EVP, this key leadership role is responsible for a portfolio of productivity, process improvement, and systems implementation initiatives that enable growth, profitability, customer experience and employee proficiency. The EPMO SVP will establish and maintain policy, practices, and tools to govern and successfully execute a high performing EPMO. This includes establishing capital investment practices, leading key cross functional strategic initiatives, overseeing integration management office for M&A transactions, improving operational efficiency of systems and process, and providing tools and tracking of other key initiatives across the Datasite businesses. This position will be responsible for building relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure that prioritized projects, processes, and outcomes align to our business strategy and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy:
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to select, launch, and implement projects. Design and facilitate the completion of the highest priority projects that align with the strategic vision and objectives.
- Maintain and conduct annual reviews of the EPMO strategic plan with executive leadership team to maintain alignment on the overall project roadmap.
- Maintain awareness of the enterprise project portfolio and strategic plan needed to properly sequence projects to deliver optimal results.
- With an eye towards greater scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness, apply the principles of Lean to "see beyond the current" and innovate bold improvements to today's processes.
Governance:
- Establish a governance and process around capital investments (evaluation, prioritization, tracking / monitoring, reporting), partnering with executive leadership and strategic & functional planning cycles.
- Build disciplines, policies, practices, and tool kits.
- Structure multiple enterprise initiatives into a cohesive and prioritized portfolio, interacting with a supportive Steering Team oversight.
- Leveraging best practices, establish set of tools & templates for managing initiatives that can be dynamic enough to meet the needs of complex cross-functional efforts but also smaller process improvements in a function.
- Manage the intake of new initiatives in alignment with Datasite's strategic goals and objectives.
- Work with the Technology & Operations EVP to establish a set of cascading operational KPIs and financial targets for the overall effort and for each initiative.
- Identify and manage interdependencies among initiatives, including those that are run functionally to have a comprehensive tracking and monitoring system in place.
- Use technology to improve communication, accountability and facilitate enterprise-wide alignment among the various constituencies.
- Proactively promote change across the organization and develop risk mitigation plans as needed.
Execution:
- Define and deploy problem solving, process improvement, and project management principles, methods, and tools to elevate Datasite's agility, adaptability, and overall operational discipline.
- Partner cross-functionally to deploy projects via a disciplined methodology.
- Identify staffing requirements and allotment of departmental resources to enable project success.
- Collaborate with leaders across the business to recruit and manage project leaders.
- Facilitate fact-based, real-time, and continuously evaluated connectivity between internal business processes and customer needs.
- Create and oversee training needs to build EPMO skillsets across Datasite (this includes change management, project management, integration management, Lean Six Sigma, etc.)
Organizational Alignment:
- Model Datasite's core values and the leadership behaviors required to encourage process discipline, waste elimination and employee engagement.
- Communicate the goals and objectives of prioritized projects and provide a system for the ongoing measurement of results.
- Seamlessly integrate change management activities (e.g., stakeholder mapping, communication strategy, skill building, incentives alignment) into project plans, tracking and monitoring for all initiatives.
- Share knowledge across functional boundaries, promote continuous improvement, and build capability & skills at all levels of the organization.
- Identify capability gaps and help facilitate improvements.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
- Develop and maintain lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships with internal & external customers, Datasite team members and vendors.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Engineering, or a related business field
- Master's degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus
- Blackbelt or Master Blackbelt certification preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of professional leadership and project management experience.
- 8+ years of experience in the direct management/supervision of others required.
- Deep expertise in Lean and Change Management principles, methods, and tools.
- Extensive, hands-on experience leading large-scale change initiatives across the full lifecycle of strategy, planning, budgeting, requirements definition, design, and delivery involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
- Highly organized, with demonstrated track record in a program management office environment.
- Exceptional strategic planning, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Extraordinary initiative and problem-solving dexterity.
- High change agility with strong change management & stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to develop influential relationships at multiple levels within an organization
- Detail oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Experience managing projects using a variety of development methodologies.
- Experience establishing new discipline in organizations a plus.
- Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies.
- This position may require specialized knowledge or training in specific areas.

Physical DemandsTypical office environment which includes extended periods of time sitting or standing, working on a personal computer, typing, using a mouse, using a phone and participating in video conferences, etc. Up to 20% travel time.
The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate's compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
Salary Range - $176,310 - $312,850
