Volt is seeking a Technical Engineer located in Jeffersonville, IN
As a Technical Engineer, you will:
- Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately.
- Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
- Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
- Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
- Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
- Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
- Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
- Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
- Maintain all TE related stations and tools regularly
- Place new tools and jigs on production lines on time
- Repair the bad tools or jigs from production lines and return ASAP
- Calibrate/Audit/GRR all needed stations
- Report tools and jigs failure analysis and solution
This is a
full-time role,
Ideal candidate will have: - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or similar engineering
discipline). - Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups or managers.
- Ability to provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
- Ability to attain and maintain state of the art knowledge of all technology products and industry trends.
- Ability to investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
- Strong listening, oral and written communication skills, ability to motivate.
- Able to plan, direct and delegate work to others.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills as well as administrative management skills.
- Ability to develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
Pay Rate: $26.00-$28.00/per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
