RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Writer 4 in Redmond, WA.Summary:The main function of a Technical Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical Technical Writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files. This role will consist of 10% writing team meetings, 20% meeting with stakeholders, rest would be a mix of research, email and writing.Job Responsibilities:- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions
- Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication
- Contribute to content freshness, content migration projects, optimizing content for AI, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8-10+ years of experience with technical writing tools and skills
- 8-10+ years of experience with GitHub
- Technical writing experience for a security product, compliance, or data privacy
- Experience working at a security company, anything related to compliance or data privacy
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
