Location: Frederick, MD

Position Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays | 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Pay Range: $19 - $20 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Front Desk Receptionist to assist a busy doctor's office through the holiday season. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior office experience who can manage administrative tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, organized, and able to handle a variety of office duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and schedule appointments in the system.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with general office tasks and patient intake procedures.
  • Maintain organized patient records and office files.
  • Support the office team with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous office experience, preferably in a front desk or receptionist role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle phone calls and patient inquiries professionally.
  • Proficiency with office software and systems; experience with scheduling and data entry preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
