Your Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Total Rewards Partner to join our team. This role will focus on partnering with our team on benefit and compensation programs and strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and providing data-driven insights to support organizational goals. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, assess our programs, ensuring they meet the needs of our organization, while remaining competitive in the market. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze data effectively to help make data driven decisions.

Key responsibilities include analyzing market trends, conducting benefit and compensation benchmarking, and support the team in developing innovative benefit and compensation strategies that enhance employee engagement and retention. You will provide expert guidance on benefit programs and compensation and be able to effectively communicate our total rewards proposition to key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of benefits and compensation best practices, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Your expertise will contribute to creating a rewarding workplace that attracts and retains top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end to end Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for benefits providers ensuring finalists align with overall benefit strategy.
  • Review all benefit contracts for compliance, including performance guarantees where applicable.
  • Enhance annual benefit fringe budget process.
  • Assist in implementing retirement plan strategy.
  • Maintain overall benchmarking processes for benefits and conduct analysis of market trends to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate on US and Canadian benefits and compensation strategy and ensure alignment with overall Total Rewards strategy.
  • Evaluate and support the development of pay policies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Conduct data analytics related to pay analysis, geographic differentials, and salary structures to inform compensation strategies.
  • Review Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) classifications to ensure compliance and proper classification of employees.
  • Lead training sessions for HR and management teams on Total Rewards topics.
  • Support on various M&A activities including project planning for Total Rewards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location: 3 days onsite in Burlington, MA.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS degree and 5- 8 years exp or MS degree with 3-6 years exp or experience with 8 + years of experience)
  • Experience working in Total Rewards - with a focus in benefits

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of US and Canadian Benefit programs and strategies for managing large employer plans.
  • A general understanding of US and Canadian Compensation principles
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local legal requirements for compensation and benefits programs.
  • Proven experience with pay policies and evaluating compensation and benefits programs.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
  • Proficiency in Excel with the ability to present data insights effectively using PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, prepare presentations and lead training sessions.
  • Work independently with minimal direction while managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
