The Zone General Manager (ZGM) is responsible for developing the zone business strategy to be in line with the overall Siemens Healthineers North American strategy. This executive leadership role drives an integrated solutions strategy for Imaging, Advanced Therapies, Ultrasound and Services through coverage and in-depth knowledge of all customer segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive market share and profitability through effective management of regional account teams, setting growth targets for Regional Vice Presidents, Account Executives, and Service Sales Executives.
  • Continuously improve business processes, enhance customer satisfaction, ensure accurate forecasting, maintain transparency, and manage sales tools across the zone.
  • Develop strategies to promote growth in Siemens Healthineers solutions such as Population Health, Managed Equipment Services (MES), and Integrated Service Management contracts.
  • Lead strategic partnerships with luminary customers in Integrated Delivery Networks, Academic & Research Institutions, and Healthineers Strategic Alliances (e.g., IBM Watson / Boston Scientific).
  • Collaborate with business lines and regional functions (Services, Project Management, Solution Implementations, Finance, etc.) to achieve strategic goals.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by systematically developing and coaching direct reports and the zone team.

  • Market share growth
  • Customer satisfaction and loyalty scores
  • People excellence metrics
Required Competencies:
  • Executive-level experience in formulating business strategy across enterprise-wide opportunities and customer segments.
  • Proven track record in leadership, targeting, and closing strategic accounts within the zone.
  • Deep understanding of industry macro trends and comprehensive knowledge of the market and customer landscape.
  • Expertise in Healthineers Imaging, Advanced Therapies, Ultrasound, and Services offerings.
  • Strong intra-organizational collaboration skills with exceptional influence and negotiation capabilities at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across a matrix organization and empower managers to achieve business outcomes.
