Position Overview:

The Senior Finance Analyst, Finance Strategy & Business Performance is an experienced and versatile analyst, capable of understanding and modeling any question or opportunity. The senior analyst will be an excellent communicator (written and verbal), who thrives on solving unique problems and working in a team environment. The analyst will support various projects/requests on an ad hoc basis as well as detailed financial reviews of strategy and business development activity to facilitate CFO signoff. The analyst is expected to find issues and propose recommended fixes.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete strong analysis of myriad problems / opportunities exhibiting a strong fundamental understanding of the topic and a well-reasoned methodology
  • Communicate succinct and clear analysis of issues / opportunities,
  • Develop new or simpler processes for completing core business work
  • Provide complete analysis and recommendation to CFO following financial reviews of various strategy & business development opportunities
  • Manage multiple high priority projects, tasks, requests for information simultaneously - prioritization skills are key

Experience and Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related Business field.
  • A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Commercial) positions.
  • Working knowledge of financial systems, including SAP, RightAngle, Anaplan, Power BI, and the Microsoft suite of programs.
  • Strong understanding of the integrated business value of each P&L.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for networking and influencing others inside and outside the finance organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform high-quality, professional work within deadlines with minimal direct supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to process large amounts of information and translate it into useful recommendations.
  • Capability to cross business and functional boundaries to understand the broader impacts of results.
  • Financial modeling experience across various subject areas.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Commercial) positions preferred.
